First Trivia Night at Waldwick Legion: Team ‘We Love Our Vets’ Wins!
Waldwick American Legion Post 57 held its inaugural Trivia Night, attracting many participants and creating a lively atmosphere. Team “We Love Our Vets,” including Commander Kevin O’Hara and veterans Chuck Farricker, Stan Wekarski, and Stan Kowalski, won the event. Thanks were extended to Jackie Lane and the Ladies Auxiliary for their efforts.

Celebrating the 17th Annual Waldwick 5K Run — “May the Fourth Be With You!”
On May 4, 2025, the 17th Annual Waldwick 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk took place in Waldwick, New Jersey, celebrating community and fitness with a Star Wars theme. Over 700 participants enjoyed the event, raising $40,000 for local causes, including $5,000 for pediatric cancer research. The next race is scheduled for May 3, 2026.

The Amy & Mark Shirvan Family Senior Safety Initiative offers free home safety evaluations for seniors aged 60 and older.
