Rite Aid announced that it is setting up COVID-19 testing sites as part of its partnership with the White House Coronavirus Task Force. The Rite Aid location at Franklin Turnpike and West Prospect Street will begin COVID-19 testing this Saturday, April 18. The Rite Aid drive-up COVID-19 testing will utilize self-swab nasal tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists. The testing will take place in the store’s parking lot. As part of the testing process, people must pre-register online and remain in their vehicles from the time they arrive and until they depart. Testing is expected to continue 7 days a week for 7 weeks.
The Borough’s Police Department has been in contact with Rite Aid to ensure there is minimal impact on the Borough. Testing is being done by appointment only so we do not expect the traffic impact that was experienced at other testing facilities in our region. The North West Bergen Regional Health Commission is also aware of the testing.
If you have questions, comments, or concerns, please contact Rite Aid directly. Rite Aid is working hard to roll out testing as quickly as possible, so their website has not yet been updated with the Waldwick location information. They will post information to their website as it becomes available so please check the links below for updates.
To all of our friends and neighboring businesses:
Firstly, from all of us here at Minuteman Press Ho-Ho-Kus, we sincerely hope that you and your families are staying safe and healthy during this unprecedented time in history. One day, the next generation will not only learn about the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 in history class, but they will also learn about the great American recovery that followed. The only way that we in Ho-Ho-Kus are going to help write that recovery chapter is by uniting as a community and helping all of our neighbors.
At Minuteman Press, we are doing our part to author America’s recovery story by running the Bounce Back USA initiative. Bounce Back USA was created by Minuteman Press to offer two free services to help support all of our neighboring businesses as we find a way to work together through these trying times. First, we are distributing COVID-19 awareness and prevention posters at no charge to any business in our service area. Second, we are providing free local advertising on our site (Bounce Back HHK) to stimulate business and help all of our neighbors overcome the tremendous economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We truly believe that a rising tide will lift all ships, and we want to make sure our communities stay afloat.
Please use the form on our page to submit your company’s special offer or supportive message for publishing on our site at no charge. Just upload your logo and the message or offer, and we’ll publish your message in the appropriate category.
Join the coalition now to show your support and solidarity with the business community in our neighborhood!

On August 2nd, members of the Marine aviation unit VMGR 452 held their 1st Annual Golf Outing at Mansion Ridge , N. The outing was held to remember the 15 fallen Marines and 1 Navy personnel on Yanky 72 who were tragically killed in an air crash on July 10, 2017.
Money raised from the event will be donated to the Wingman Foundation. A charity which supports fallen Marine and Naval aviators.
The Waldwick Chamber of Commerce made a generous donation to the fund in honor of Marine Gunnery Sgt Mark Hopkins who was on Yanky 72 when it crashed. Gunny Sgt Hopkins had served with Officer Christopher Goodell in the Marines. He had run and supported our 5K Run with his fellow Marines in honor of Officer Goodell and SSgt
In appreciation and recognition for our past support of the Wingman Foundation the event coordinator assigned the Waldwick Chamber of Commerce a golf hole as a sponsor.
Thank you all for your support.
I can’t thank you enough for your continued support of our students. You are so generous with your time and expertise and we are so thankful for you. The students really enjoy this activity which would not be possible without your help. On Saturday June 15th at Crestwood Lake, our Waldwick Chamber of Commerce members the American Legion Post 57 and VFW Post 1049 took part in the annual flag retirement ceremony. Commander Joseph Chinnici from the Allendale VFW hosted the event. Members of the Ramsey, Allendale and Waldwick VFW’s were all present. Veterans were invited from the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home to the ceremony and a enjoyed a barbecue. A nice event was spent with our Veterans from the Paramus Memorial Home.
